When substituting, this symbol will assume the value of the other base symbols in order to complete paylines. These symbols, however, only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4. 

Furthermore, all higher-value symbol types in Lucha Rumble have a gold variant which can land on reels 1 and 5. Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols in Lucha Rumble will trigger the free spins round and provide players with 15, 20, or 25 free spins, respectively.
