Reactoonz gameplay takes place on a 7x7 play table and utilises a cluster pays mechanic in base gameplay. This feature means that matching symbol combinations are not made across classic paylines like in Megaways slots and are instead made by 5 or more symbols touching horizontally or vertically. For a symbol to join a cluster, it must touch at least 1 other symbol. To go along with this mechanic, the playtable also cascades when combinations are made, meaning that symbols involved in a combination leave the playtable and new ones fall down to take their place. The design of Reactoonz is rather simple, with the background being blue and having patches of darker blue within it. After the bar is filled, a random feature is added to the queue. Up to 4 features can be stored and adding a 5th triggers the Gargantoon feature. The potential features of Gargantoon include:

• Implosion - transforms 3 to 6 random symbols into wilds and destroys all adjacent symbols.

• Demolition - destroys all lower-value aliens in view. 

• Incision - places a wild symbol into the centre position and creates an intersecting diagonal line through the grid, which then reveals the same randomly chosen symbol. 

• Gargantoon - adds a 3x3 wild into a random position, which moves and splits with each cascade, first into two 2x2 wilds and eventually into nine 1x1 wilds.
